How to Apply for Voter ID Card Online

1. Go to the official National Voters’ Services Portal (NVSP) website.
2. On the homepage, locate and click the ‘Sign-Up’ button at the top right corner.
3. Provide your mobile number, email address, and the captcha code, then click ‘Continue’.
4. Fill in your ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’, set a ‘Password’, confirm it, and press ‘Request OTP’.
5. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and email, then click ‘Verify’.
6. After verification, click on ‘Login’. Enter your mobile number, password, captcha code, and then click ‘Request OTP’.
7. Input the OTP sent to your mobile device and click the ‘Verify & Login’ button.
8. Once logged in, select the ‘Fill Form 6’ option under the ‘New registration for general electors’ section.
9. Complete Form 6 by entering your personal information, details of relatives, contact information, Aadhaar number, date of birth, address, and a declaration. Upload all necessary documents in the designated sections, then click ‘Preview and Submit’.
10. Review all the entered information carefully. If everything is correct, click on ‘Submit’.

How to Apply for Voter ID Card Offline

1. Visit the nearest State Election Office and request Form 6.
2. Fill in the Form 6 with the required details.
3. Submit the completed Form 6 along with a photo and supporting documents at the Election Office.
