UP LT Grade Assistant Teacher Mains Exam Date 2026

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the Mains Exam Date for the Assistant Teacher (TGT) posts. The mains examination is scheduled to be conducted on 11 July 2026. The application process for the UPPSC mains exam started on 02 April 2026 and concluded on 17 April 2026. Candidates can check their Mains Exam Date by logging into the official portal using their Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth. The recruitment is under Advt No: A-5/E-1/2025.

Eligibility Criteria

• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Hindi: Graduation degree with Hindi as a subject and Sanskrit at intermediate level OR Uttar Madhyama from UP Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) English: Graduation degree in English Literature. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Maths: Graduation degree with Mathematics as a subject. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Science: Graduation degree with Physics and Chemistry as subjects. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Social Science: Graduation degree with at least two subjects from History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Computer: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, OR Graduate degree in Computer Science/Applications, OR Graduation degree with ‘A’ Level from NIELIT, OR B.Tech in Computer Science and MCA. B.Ed. is preferential.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Urdu: Graduation degree with Urdu as a subject. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Biology: Graduation degree with Zoology and Botany as subjects. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Sanskrit: Graduation degree with Sanskrit as a subject. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Arts: Graduation degree with Art as a subject and B.Ed. degree, OR Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (BFA) with B.Ed.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Music: Graduation degree with Music as a subject, OR Sangeet Visharad/Sangeet Prabhakar with Graduation. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Commerce: Graduation degree in Commerce. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Physical Education: Graduation degree and B.P.Ed. or B.P.E. degree approved by NCTE.
• Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Home Science: Graduation degree with Home Science as a subject. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
• Assistant Teacher (Male) Agriculture / Horticulture: Graduation degree in Agriculture or Horticulture. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institute.
